The Sacred Forest

This is actually the background I was planning to slap my gargoyle character I'm working on for the Monthly Gargoyle Contest, but I think it's nice in it's own right.

I enjoyed experimenting with photoshop on this one with levels and tranparencies. The background is a watercolor painting that I did of a tree in my backyard. The rock is from *FantasyStock here: [link] and the border is from a stock celtic frame book I have, the faires were done in photoshop.

Edit: I have no idea why the description says I took a picture-I scanned everyhing in! 0_o
