Forgive the stupid name, I can't think of anything else...
This is my entry for the Disney villain contest at .

After I came home from Disneyworld last summer, I really wanted to do a picture of Chernabog from "Fantasia"(Hey, he's the original "gargoyle" ;)) There's a lot of really cool sculptures of him there-that I couldn't afford

This is done all in pastel on 9x12 black paper. I didn't actually intend for it to have that stylized glowy effect but the colors were so bright on the paper and it just kind of turned out that way.

Chernabog, "Night on Bald Mountain," and Fantasia are copyright Disney.

oh, again you astound me with your use of color. so many colors for something that was very dark, and yet you manage to make it look eerie just like in the movie. so glad you did this, this is my favorite sequence from the original fantasia... :D

Wow!! I've rarely seen such a soft but adequate use of color. The cold blue gives your picture a dark atmosphere which is complemented by a bit of yellow and red.

Thank you very much! :hug: It's my favorite sequence from the movie too-I watched it for inspiration before I made this and was surprised to find a lot of warm colors were used.

Dubbed Anime is like a nice pizza with dog poop on it. There still might be a tastey pizza underneath, but I've lost my appetite for it.
